For those exporting for the first time or businesses experienced in international trade expanding into new markets, UKTI can help develop export capabilities and provide expert advice, information and support.

UKTI has international trade teams active in over 200 Embassies & Consulates worldwide and in over 45 UK offices. There are 6 offices based in the West Midlands in the Herefordshire & Worcestershire , Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham & Solihull, Black Country and Coventry & Warwickshire sub regions.

Passport to Export

Passport to Export is the UKTI’s flagship initiative for new and inexperienced exporters. It provides the fast-track advice and support required to begin a successful export operation.

The initiative combines new and existing UKTI services according to your particular business needs. You will receive a business diagnostic and ongoing support from one of our local international trade advisers, an individual export plan and a range of developmental training options. You will then be able to put those skills to practical use by visiting your agreed market.
